WHEN TO CHOOSE PRESSURE WASHING VS. SOFTWASHING

These two terms, while sometimes used interchangeably by those less familiar with the industry, mean two very different things. Simply put, softwashing is a method that relies heavily on water-based, biodegradable chemicals to clean more delicate surfaces with less pressure, while power washing may not require those same chemicals, as the focus is more on higher water pressure. However, both are popular options for general exterior cleaning.

When to use softwash vs pressure wash

While we offer both services, softwashing is our bread and butter. But we will admit that pressure washing has its place — and we sometimes recommend it for concrete or other tougher materials with deep staining that calls for a more aggressive cleaning method. If you’re looking to have your driveway, sidewalk, or other hard materials cleaned, we can help. While you could softwash those areas, pressure washing is understood to be a viable option if you’re looking for a good rinse.

If these ideas are newer to you, there’s no need to worry! Our expertise extends through both methods, and we are more than happy to go over options with you when you give us a call. While the choice is ultimately up to you, we’ll tell you why we recommend either softwashing or pressure washing for the particular surface that needs to be cleaned. From there, you’ll be armed with the facts and ready to decide for yourself. Reach out anytime for an estimate, and we’ll take care of everything from there until you’re completely happy with the results.
